I had a wonderful stay at Sonderia Hostel & Bar – Lazybones Hostel, and it brought back memories because I unknowingly booked the same hostel I stayed at 8 years ago! Clearly, they're doing something right to stay on top for so long. The staff here are exceptional – Penny, Green, Nicole, and Laura were always there to help, from downloading apps and VPNs to showing me around the city and even ordering dinner. Their hospitality made the hostel feel like home during my 7-night stay. The bar is a great place to meet people, and I had a blast learning new drinking games with fellow travelers. It truly made my experience in Chengdu unforgettable.

The hostel offers city views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Great hostel, very clean and tidy. Beds had curtains for privacy. Common area is very nice.

Teddy Bear Hotel is beside Baoguo Bus Station, a 10-minute walk from the famous Baoguo Temple of Mount Emei and 6.5 km from Emei Town. Chengdu Emei Railway station is 10 km away. Amazing place to stay before walking in Emei Shan! The rooms were so nice and clean for a very attractive price! The hosts was a caring family and help us to book the tickets for EmeiShan and give us the best tips to know before the ascension of the Emei Shan. The hostel's tour desk also provides budget-friendly tour options for travelers. I loved the entrance and the chick area around the reception. It gives a homely and relaxed feel. The second floor is charmingly decorated either lanterns and had these wooden windows which gave a super nice ambiance. The staff was super friendly and helpful and arranged dumpling nights we attended - which a really nice way to say hi to the other guests. They provided this and other activities for free- which is really generous of them. The rooms are simple, the showers and toilets are clean and proper. The location was great and nearby shops provides you with all you need.
