Amazing hostel on the beach, Carolina was great and helped me enter the room at 1pm (Gabriela didn't allow me even though hostel was almost empty, but that's fine, you can leave your bags at reception and chill on the beach). Great wifi, delicious food at their restaurant, cool vibes. Lot of options to reserve, I stayed in dorm of 4 beds, good AC and both nights ended up alone in the room. Kind staff, very clean, good beach- almost no waves(explore on the right, over the rocks - there is a private beach for you). Will definitely come back!

He was also so lovely in all interactions with the other staff, it was just a super comfortable and homely hostel. So many little spots to sit and enjoy a cool breeze, our favourite was the hammock! The hostel was about 10 mins away from the bustling tourist area which made sleeping easier as it was pretty quiet. The breakfast was amazing, eggs + toast + cheese + fruit + coffee! Honestly would happily go back to Santa Marta just to stay in this hostel!

The hostel is very clean, spacious and has amazing sunsets. They are so kind and speak fluent spanish and english. In the morning you can get a delicious breakfast for a day full a walks to beautiful waterfalls nearby. And in the evening you can also enjoy a great meal at their restaurant, so after the sunset you don't need to hike down to Minca. Thank you for the amazing experience!

You can't beat the location if you want to sleep on the beach or need to unplug. It's a small fishing/surfing village, with a touristic twist. The waves are quite intense so swimming may or may not be a good idea depending on the waves. We enjoyed watching the fisherman putting the boats in the water in the morning, the whole community comes to help. Don't expect a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, this isn't it. It's a wonderful little spot on a beautiful beach. The internet works. It's accessible by bus and a half a mile walk (or moto ride). It's also a short bus ride to the entrance of Tayrona Park. We absolutely loved sleeping with the sound of the waves.
