A special shoutout to Juan, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay – especially when I needed to buy my Tica Bus ticket. He was incredibly kind, patient, and resourceful. If you're looking for a chill spot close to the ocean, with helpful staff and a great atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!

All guest rooms in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Alouatta Playa Coyote features some units that feature sea views, and all rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. It felt so good to sleep in such a comfortable bed but in a tent - right in the middle of nature. You could gaze at the stars at night time and hear all of the beautiful nature around you. Misha and Jen are wonderful, friendly hosts who made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast (and conversation) were very much enjoyed :-) Thank you!

Hostel La Botella de Leche is 5 minutes’ walk from Tamarindo town centre and 1 hour’s drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport. I liked that the property was close to the downtown Tamarindo and the beach and of course the pool. Btw, her receptionist Ailén was so kind and friendly. Thank so much.

The hostel offers a barbecue. I had a wonderful stay at Mai ke kai. The location was perfect, close to the beach, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the people there. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

The hostel was very sociable and there was a very nice sharing dynamic. We cooked a lot of meals all together. There was a lot of spices to choose from as well as cooking oil which was very nice as most costa rica hostels dont offer this. The small common areas make it super propice to socialize with people. Nice clothing line to hang clothes. I felt like at home.
