Kitchen was also well equipped, and there was a mini grocery store less than a minute walk away.

The place has a great atmosphere with the pool, the living spaces and people hanging around.The hostel is neither too big or too small, the perfect balance between social/lively and quiet at night. As a solo traveler, it was easy to meet new people to chat with, to go surfing or to go out. The staff is very friendly and it was nice to arrange surfing lessons directly from the hostel (I ended up going everyday...). The surf lessons with our instructor Fifo was fun and his feedback helped me to improve a lot!

The hostel offers a barbecue. Great location -- center of town, but on a quiet part of the street. The best surf lessons with Mattia, the in-house instructor, for a very fair rate. And they helped organize a wonderful turtle outing where we got to see a green pacific turtle laying her eggs on the beach.
