The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Luis is amazing. He has a generous and kind soul. The hostel was very sociable and there was a very nice sharing dynamic. We cooked a lot of meals all together. There was a lot of spices to choose from as well as cooking oil which was very nice as most costa rica hostels dont offer this. The small common areas make it super propice to socialize with people. Nice clothing line to hang clothes. I felt like at home.

Situé à Hacienda Santa María, à 23,7 km du volcan Miravalles, le Santa Maria Volcano Lodge Hotel & Restaurante propose un jardin, un parking privé gratuit, un restaurant et un bar. We loved the place and were very happy with our choice. Yocky and her Mom are amazing hosts and take care of their guests very well whether it is sharing trip advices or preparing delicious meals or just to spend time together like friends or family members do. The Family and also all their employees are very kind and wonderful people. So are all the horses and I can also recommend horse riding at their place. Also the whole property meaning the land is just amazing. It offers diffrent kind of wooden houses (smaller, bigger, older and very new ones) for the guests and we loved the one that we chose. We have never seen so many diffrent birds just in front of our house and we had aready been to Costa Rica several times. It was a very magical time to us, and we would like say one more time: Thank you, Yocky, for your hospitality and for the possibility of being able to visit your beautiful and so natural land with all these trees (we love guanacaste big trees), birds and other animals. We already miss this place and can only add that there are not so much of such places for a real travellers/explorers to see and experience when it comes to real Costa Rica and its beautiful nature. We want to definitelly come back!

L’établissement The Backside House - Women Only - se trouve à Tamarindo, à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Tamarindo. Really, really nice hostel! Very laid back, really nice facilities (especially the kitchen) and super friendly hosts. 30 seconds to the beach and a couple of minutes walk to some really nice coffee shops, food outlets, bars. I booked one night, arrived and immediately extended for another! Would definitely stay again!

L’établissement Alouatta Playa Coyote se situe à San Francisco, à 38 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Chutes d'eau de Montezuma. Il possède un jardin, une terrasse, un bar et un parking privé gratuit. It felt so good to sleep in such a comfortable bed but in a tent - right in the middle of nature. You could gaze at the stars at night time and hear all of the beautiful nature around you. Misha and Jen are wonderful, friendly hosts who made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast (and conversation) were very much enjoyed :-) Thank you!

L’établissement Mai Ke Kai Surf House se situe à Tamarindo, à 500 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Tamarindo. Everything!! Loved the staff so much. So kind and very helpful. I ended up staying here in total 2 weeks. The hostel is so warm and welcoming, I met so many kind individuals. Also a super chill atmosphere. The kitchen is perfect as well lots of space for everyone.

The hostel feels very much like a second home, the people living and volunteering here were extremely friendly and always ready to help! The beach is a 5-10min walk from the hostel and the environment is safe. The owner explained us about the plans for the future, which I’m sure has great potential! Absolutely recommend the place!
