Wonderful kind hosts, a beautiful garden full of wildlife. We saw giant crabs, poison dart frogs, agouti, sloths, many birds and colourful flowers. The restaurant is delicious and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Comfy beds, hammocks and well equipped kitchen. Very child friendly, quiet, clean and lots of fun. We loved it :-)

Casa mamré is an excellent place to stay, all the moreso thanks to the personal and creative touches Caleb and friends have added to make a really special hostel experience. The location is dreamy, right on the water, and the individual cabins alongside charming common areas provide a great mix of personal space and chances to socialise. Rihanny at the front desk is a total star. Calm, pleasant, warm and helpful she made our stay exceptional. The hostel was a joy, wonderful grounds with a resident sloth (Raoul), a number of agouti and most wonderful...the red straberry dart frogs. There are flowers at every corner and the trees and lush vegetation add ambiance and privacy. They have a good system for food storage in the shared kitchen and a nice little pool area.

El Hostel del Patio has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tortuguero. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests.

I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

Everything! Calm, peaceful, very helpfull for all activities! This is a small hotel nearby all activities you can do in Tortuguero! The owner are really nice people, ready to share with you all the tips! Very clean! If you are looking for an authentic expériences and not so touristic one don't hesitate. Breakfast is good and I do recomend Bambu restaurant which is 5 min walking
