I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Choose between our cozy dorms or private rooms, all designed with your comfort in mind. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen, chillout spaces, and opportunities to meet travelers from around the world. The property was close to the beach, they offered a lot of fun activities for opportunities to meet people and the staff were lovely. The rooms were clean and it was not noisy at night. I had a medical emergency and the staff were so helpful and caring in offering to assist me and checking in on me.

The units in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. Chelsea is a very nice, helpful & caring host. Her friend Lenin is a very patient , good & funny surf instructor ! Very good vibes in this Hostel. Community Kitchen with all the items you need to cook or make coffee in the morning. Highly recommend the place. It’s like being roommates - almost friends - not guests. We had a lot of good talks there! Feels soo cozy within this hostel family

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. I loved everything!!! It is very clean, the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen very organized, they have free coffee, bathrooms have soap and shower gel. The staff is wonderful, the location is great! I have no words to describe this place!! The best! And the price....priceless. Thank you for the lovely stay!
