The house where I rented a room was very clean and spacious, with a good shower, secured doors, big bed and a fan. There was a big fridge, a microwave and a functional stove. There was a ceiling fan even in the kitchen, as well as a big dining table ideal for shared meals, socialising or playing games. The owner Elton was very kind and attentive.

The staff is very helpful, the rooms and dorms are uber clean, the water in the shower is quite warm, the general atmosphere very relaxing, there are well equipped kitchens, and it's cheap. Tarrafal is already a very nice city, but such hostels make it even better. I will definitely be coming back here!
