I booked a shared room and I got lucky to have the room on my own. Pros of traveling in low season. Uncomplicated self check in/ check out. Kitchen was really good. One can find anything what you need for cooking.

Lovely place to stay, very clean all day long. Confortable bed in the dorm. Easy to reach from the main train station, and very close to the center. Hairdryer in the shower room. The people who work there are smiling and helpful.

I forgot my make up kit in the bathroom and they sent it pretty quickly back to my address. Big thanks for that!

The property is around 21 km from Schauspielhaus Kiel, 23 km from St. Nikolaus Church and 23 km from Wunderino Arena. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. Very nice hostel stay, the hostel is nicely remote. It is very clean and cosy. The owner is very friendly and you can see that she loves her work a lot. Around the hostel are nice spots to relax, there were plenty of tables and chairs. The beach is close by (3km, quick drive but also walkable). Bring some food yourself, the kitchen is well equipped. Coffee and tea was provided. There is a basket with some drinks and snacks to buy if you have forgotten some, bring cash. There is no WiFi, but reception is good and there are loads of games, books, puzzles etcetera to entertain yourself.

Built in 1890, rooms at the Blue Doors Hostel Altstadt Rostock are spacious and brightly furnished. All include lockers, reading lamps and a seating area, and there are shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Very good location, close to Old Town and 20 minutes walk from train station. Room was clean. I can highly recommend this place for a weekend trip 💙
