Die Unterkunft Madina Hostel, die in Kairo, 300 m von Tahrir-Platz entfernt gelegen ist, bietet klimatisierte Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und eine Gemeinschaftslounge. Richtig tolles Hostel! Personal dort super nett, zu jeder tages- und nachtzeit hilfsbereit, können gut englisch und sind einfach rundum korrekte Leute. Bäder sind wie neu und sehr sauber, Frühstück ist lecker und ausgiebig, in den Schlafräumen gibts gute aircon und Vorhänge an allen Betten. War tatsächlich zwei mal dort: am anfang meiner ägyptentour, und dann noch mal eine Nacht vor meiner Abreise, einfach weil ich es so chillig fand.

Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine Bar Life Pyramids Inn und Zimmer in Kairo, 500 m von Große Sphinx von Gizeh und 1,5 km von Pyramiden von Gizeh entfernt. Wir waren sechs Nächte im Life Pyramids Inn - ein voller Erfolg. Der Eigentümer Mohammed und seine Familie kümmern sich aufmerksam aber in keiner Weise aufdringlich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste, geben hilfreiche Ratschläge und organisieren Touren zu guten Preisen - wir haben bei ihm einen Fahrer nach Dashur, Memphis und Sakkara, eine Quad Tour und eine Dinner Cruise am Nil gebucht, was alles bestens funktioniert hat und preislich in Ordnung war. Unser Zimmer war groß, ruhig, die Betten sehr bequem und wir haben besten geschlafen. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch das ganze Hotel sind blitzsauber. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit einem unschlagbaren Panoramablick auf die Pyramiden, von wo wir am Samstag auch die Sound and Light Show beobachtet haben. Die Umgebung: Der Eingang zu den Pyramiden liegt quasi vor der Haustür (Tipp: Eintrittskarten online kaufen, dann erspart man sich die Schlange), nach Kairo gelangt man problemlos und günstig mit Uber. Das Viertel, in dem das Hostel liegt, wirkt zunächst sehr "orientalisch", was für uns zuerst gewöhnungsbedürftig war, aber dann genau den besonderen Reiz ausgemacht hat: Man ist hier nicht abgeschottet in einem Resort, sondern mitten im ägyptischen Leben, auf der Straße gibt es immer etwas zu sehen (Kamele, Pferde, Esel....), natürlich viel zu kaufen und man findet auch einige nette Restaurants. Wir haben uns auch völlig sicher gefühlt. Wir hatten insgesamt einen tolle und erlebnisreiche Zeit und können das Life Pyramids Inn allen aufgeschlossenen Individualreisenden nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft Villa Layla in Kairo bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten nur für Erwachsene mit einem Garten und einer Terrasse. I stayed in one of the private rooms and it was fabulous. Such a beautiful hostel/hotel. The staff are helpful, met an owner and he is lovely. The hotel was even more beautiful to me than in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, lots of details to look at and admire. I stayed here twice and I would go back again if I return to Cairo. Also, rooms were super clean, breakfast is inexpensive, healthy, and delicious! Also, neighbourhood is interesting and safe for a solo female to walk around. The house is tucked behind a gate and is a quiet place away from Cairo’s noisy traffic.

Die Unterkunft DAR Pyramids View Inn - Rooftop, die in Kairo gelegen ist und von der aus Große Sphinx von Gizeh in weniger als 2,4 km erreichbar ist, bietet Nichtraucher Zimmer, eine... Stayed on 5th October 2025. First of all, we were truly surprised when we reached the location of the hotel. The location doesn't look foreigner-friendly at first, rather it is more like a rural place, full with local vendors. We reached by cab, and luckily for us, the driver asked around about the location of the hotel. Upon reaching the "lobby" of the hotel, people are staring at us like celebrities. The elevator is antique and scary to get in. But knowing the residents around are taking this elevator for everyday, I hop in. Elevator requires access card, and we were lucky enough to have residents helping us to the 14th floor, the top floor of the building. Once reaching, immediately we realized the difference. The hotel is so new, so beautiful, and we were greeted warmly by the owner, who used to be a flight-attendant (Sorry for not getting your name). He even fulfilled my request to surprise my wife for 7th anniversary. They got use balloons and also some dried rose petals on the bed. Truly romantic and wonderful. The view from the hotel balcony is able to see the pyramids. They even have their rooftop restaurant, with a view of the great pyramids. Too bad we were not able to try their foods as we checked out early in the morning. Overall it is definitely 9/10, I unable to try the food which I believe once I do, it will be 10/10.

Die Unterkunft Space Hostel, die in Kairo gelegen ist und von der aus Tahrir-Platz in weniger als 1,1 km erreichbar ist, bietet einen schnellen Check-in und Check-out, Nichtraucher Zimmer, kostenlose... Alles in einem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Wie ein Urlaub bei Freunden. Saubere Zimmer (inkl. Badezimmer). Sehr freundliches Personal Rezeption war 24 Stunden vorhanden. Check-in ist jederzeit möglich. Flughafen Taxiservice vorhanden. Warme Getränke immer vorhanden und jeder Zeit auf Wunsch. Ausreichendes und vielfältiges Frühstück. Dadurch, dass das Hotel im 6. Stock war hatte der vorhandene Aufzug einen großen Wert für uns.

I decided to book this hostel because it looks neat, clean and location is in the center, near the Egyptian Museum. We stayed here only 2 nights, separately 1st and last night in Egypt. They let us use the public restroom at the day we already checked out, before moving to night bus to go to Qena, kept our luggage without any charging during our trip to Luxor, Aswan, until the day we were back to Cairo. They also offers laundry service in good price. Furthermore, you can book private trip through the hostel, e.g. to the pyramids. Additionally, the reception is always (24/7) occupied, helping us at our late checkin and early morning checkout, the staff is truly amazing! They are always happy to assist no matter what, and you can easily contact them via WhatsApp at any time. Thanks to the owner Abdo, his brother and everyone else at the hostel - I had an amazing stay in Egypt.

To be honest we spent only one night…,,i was having room me and with my girlfriend,,but the place it’s quite and clean,, reception it’s 24 hours and are so kind and try always to help us….the location at the city center ,,,,and the let me feel at my home so i recommend this place. Die Unterkunft Pyramids Glory Inn hat kostenlose Fahrräder, einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse in Kairo. Staff are very helpful, accommodating, and nice! They can help you get uber if you are having issues with booking. Location is perfect. Less than 5min walk to the Pyramids Entrance/ Ticket counter. I got a great room with a direct view of the pyramids. Super nice! I can see the pyramids from the bed overlooking the balcony. There’s free water, coffee, and tea and sugar in the room. Rooftop was a great spot to see the pyramids as well. And they give you a big, hearty, breakfast. The bed was so comfortable as well. I slept really well. It was also quiet. AC works well. The door is very sturdy. Good supply of water. There is hot water in the shower. They provide shampoo and body wash and hand wash. There are towels as well. But the shower stall is quite small though (because the sliding door is limiting the space a bit) so could be an issue for others but works well for me as I am petite.
