One of the nicest Albergues along the Camino Frances. Spacious, clean, with good facilities and single beds (ie no bunk beds). Good food as well and above all, a great host.

They have amazing breakfast menus, with scramble eggs, bacon, fresh orange juice, coffee, milk and plenty other options, and the most expensive is only 6.5€. They have pilgrims menu and "A la carte" choices, all very good. And bar with tapas. The rooms are modern, clean, spaciuos. It is my second time here and if I have the opportunity I will definetly come back. The previous stay was with the family, two teens and they just love the place with the pool and a gaming room.

ACienLeguas heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Castrojeriz. Comfy beds with curtains, and roomy showers/bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor garden. Would definitely stay again.

Albergue Guiana ligt in het hart van het historische centrum van Ponferrada, op slechts 2 minuten lopen van het kasteel van de Tempeliers, de Encina-basiliek en het Museum van Bierzo y de la Radio. Very clean, very kind and helpful staff, close to old town.

La Santa Siesta heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Villadangos del Páramo. Very friendly clean and comfortable place to stay with excellent shared kitchen/dining facilities. Super helpful and hard working host.

Albergue Laganares - pilgrims hostel - heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in San Nicolás del Real Camino. A piece of Italy on the Camino! Great food, hospitable staff and a bar that makes you feel like you're in a sophisticated hotel all of which makes for a great place to unwind and relax after a hard day's walk. The breakfast is a must too, natural yogurt with muesli and frutto del Bosco! This place was one of my favourites on the Camino!

Albergue de la Piedra ligt in Villafranca del Bierzo, op 21 km van Romeinse goudmijnen Las Médulas, en biedt uitzicht op de rivier. This was my first albergue, and it was the best one I stayed at on the Camino. Nathalie and Manuel were amazing hosts and so kind! Make sure to take their dinner which they cook for you themselves. Well worth it.
