There was an issue with booking and that caused a delay with the check in. I was able to spend time and enjoy the city but to my surprise the staff upgraded my booking to accommodate for the booking error. The staff made me feel not only welcome but also part of the community. I would have stayed longer if I knew how great the stay would be. If you stay in Cherbourg, this is the place you should stay. Also there was scooter parking right next to the hotel which is amazingly convenient. The guest kitchen area was well maintained and stocked for you to make many different types of meals and make yourself coffee. Everything was always clean whether I used one of the wash rooms in the middle of the night or during busy times in the day. I have been in France for a few weeks and I think this was my most enjoyed stay! Thank you to the staff that was so wonderful to me
