Just came back from a really great 2-week stay at the Dolphin Inn hostel. Perfect Dunbar location just a few blocks from the ocean with a view of the sea from the bedroom window. Minutes to the train station, with 30 minutes or so to Edinburgh. Exceptionally clean facilities with a full kitchen and simple breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the room lovely and cosy. All of the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I’d highly recommend a stay at the Dolphin Inn as the perfect Scottish home away from home.

I can not express how beautiful the location is, you must see it. The pod was equipped quite well, it was also warm. Ruth is exceptional host and was very helpful and nice.

It's right at the bus stop and close to everything. Supermarket is a 5-10 minute walk away. The hostel is very well run and very clean. Bathrooms are great. Great showers! We never had to wait for a shower and there is a sink in the room as well. We usually stay in hotels, not hostels, but we had a private room and we were perfectly happy with Murray Library.

Benbecula Airport is 84 km away. We liked the view from our room and we liked the kitchen a lot! It was clean and easy to whip up some meals. It saved us a lot of money instead of eating out (and actually not sure where to eat out really...).
