Andrea was also helpful and gave me some travel tips for Guatemala as she speaks English! I was very happy to find this hostel in San Juan and would stay again next time :)

Quetzaltenango Airport is 74 km away. We loved our room and the comfortable bed! It was a short stay, so we didn't use the kitchen but it is well-equipped! There is also filtered water, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine. The location is also in the center, and there is a local market right at the corner so it's easy to get some fresh fruits/veggies and snacks there too.

Great view of lake Atitlan and the surrounding mountains and volcanoes! Yes this property is a bit difficult when you arrive to San Pedro, but this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Staff are so kind, happy to advise on anything, the whole place was extremely clean during my 4 day stay. Kitchen is very well equipped, they even have a free food section with oats, tea, coffee, honey, pasta, rice, salt and sugar. Wi-Fi works very well and rooftop hangout area is so lovely. The music from Mr Mullets goes on to 11pm but this wasn’t a problem for me, and I couldn’t really hear it from my room anyway.
