I intended to stay here for two nights but ended up extending for one more week. I've never been to a more relaxed environment than Hijau. All people taking care of this magical accommodation are amazing human beings with mega-friendly personalities. They showed me some of their favorite places which I'm very thankful for! I loved the setup of the accommodation because simplicity is all you need in this environment. Here, you feel like time doesn't exist, and you just immerse yourself in the presence. Even now, two months after my departure, I still think of Hijau every day (seriously!). I only have the best memories of Hijau. Definitely one of the best places in Indonesia. I hope I'll come back soon!

the staff and the owner were really friendly and helped us with arranging transport (scooters, fast boats, taxi). They were really social and gave us a lot of infos about everything we wanted to know. The home cooked food is very organic and local for a very good price. As an additional bonus, the room had hammocks, which added extra comfort. They got big plans for the future of the hostel and keep investing money and time to ensure the best possible experience. Can recommend 10/10

Great hostel, staff so friendly, I’ve stayed twice, went away on a boat tour & they let me keep my big backpack here whilst I was away, great place to chill at.

Loved everything about this hostel! Had such a wonderful time here and made friends for life. Perfect place for a solo traveler - you will have so much fun at Jati! The nights here are so good and Sherry, Theo and all the guys behind the bar (Igrek, Harry, David) all made sure that we had fun every single night. Family dinners here are delicious and freshly cooked and the vibes are immaculate, cannot wait to be back here ❤️

Nice spacious room with very good aircon. Not many rooms so is usually quite, means I had the pool to myself when I used it! The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Staff were so friendly and showed me local culture, the location was great - 30 second walk to the beach, and the bed was comfortable with a light and curtains!

Pp here so amazing, helpful and friendly. Feel like be family. Good location but the mosque nearby and everywhere, so you need to have earplugs. The bed a little make noise but comfortable, and with this price I don't expect much more than that. And you can have the food with pool with beautiful view in Sama Sama in same area

Lala Salama is the BEST hostel I have stayed at in Indonesia! The facilities are clean and practical, the pool and restaurant areas are vibey and well managed, and (most importantly) the staff are unforgettable. Abdul's regular sunrise and coconut hunting tours led to me meeting a ton of lovely people, and the cleaner and managers were so cool and genuine. Last but not least, I would literally eat Uli and Abdul's banana pancakes every single morning for breakfast if I could! I can't recommend Lala Salama enough, and I look forward to coming back in a few years to see how this young hostel has grown and flourished.
