Die Unterkunft Kokos Hostel Padang City bietet einen Außenpool, einen Garten, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse in Padang. Super sauberes und schönes Zimmer. Ich habe selten in so bequemen Hostelbetten geschlafen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hat immer Tips auf Lager. Die Dachterasse ist auch richtig schön!:)

The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Had an amazing stay at Salty Dog Hostel. The most beautiful sunsets are there and surf is about 20 mins away. Arif is the most genuine and helpful person we have met in Indonesia, and he's surely the coolest guy on Nias! He helped us out on many occasions and always offered genuine advice and willingness to share the Nias culture. Thanks for the great time and see you again!

Die Unterkunft Sinok Homestay Parapat bietet klimatisierte Zimmer in Parapat. Es gibt eine Terrasse und die Gäste können einen kostenlosen Privatparkplatz und kostenloses WLAN nutzen. Very new homestay at the Sejahtera buscompany compound, but not completely finished yet. (November/2025) Nice clean rooms (but not 36 m2, I think around 22 m2) with comfortable beds. The Bathrooms are OK with hot/cold shower, there is NO mirror in the bathroom. Towels provided are clean and good. Good working airconditioning. Cups and/or glasses are not provided. 2 small bottles of water per day. Watercooker and coffee and tea... Staff is very nice and helpfull

Direkt am Strand in Tuapejat gelegen und mit einem eigenen Strandbereich hat die Unterkunft Likat Surf House kostenloses WLAN in der ganzen Unterkunft. Staff is nice, organizes surf, spearfishing and island-hopping trips. There is an on-site café where you can get breakfast (included in the stay). They also have quite a few surfboards for rent. Room is simple, bu It has all you need, bed is comfy, you can get free coffee/tea all day. I only stayed a night, but I wish to have stayed longer. You can see Telescopes breaking from far(but in front of the accommodation), to reach it is a short boat ride away. Had probably the best surf session of my life there :) Thanks and see you next time!

A very central hostel with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The receptionist speaks good English and is very helpful. Highly recommended! Tip: Bring a USB charger, as the capsule only has USB ports—power outlets are available only outside.
