Lovely hostel with cosy rooms, really comfortable mattress and a beautiful authentic Indonesian bathroom with regular!, not travel sized, container of shampoo and bath gel that smells fantastic! Wonderful hosts, always providing coffee, tea, mineral water and snacks. Plus it's location is in a small street not in the main road so it's very quiet but still a step away from everything, restaurants, shops etc. in a nice neighborhood. Great value for money!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Immediately after I arrived I felt like I’m at home. I had one of the little huts which was so cute and cosy. The bed and the pillows are super comfortable and it’s quiet so perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. The shower is hot and good pressure. Also it’s very clean everywhere around the hostel. The location is great as it’s closed to many restaurants, atm, shops. Ranasa is perfect to chill and socialise whatever you feel like as they have separate spaces for both. The stuff is just incredible. So friendly, kind and they will help you with whatever you need help with. Just simply a great atmosphere and great place to stay in Yogyakarta. I wish they had more hostels like this around Indonesia.

I stayed about 3 months in this hostel, and I was so sad to leave because i felt at home. Mok is a super host. He makes you feel really comfortable, and whatever you need, he gonna help you, he is really kind and helpful. I had my birthday in their hostel, and Moak made me feel really special, he take care of each guest as I had never seen, the value doesn't have any comparatiion with the price that you pay. The hostel has a beautiful and big garden with mango trees, chilli, eggplant, and avocado, and it has even a basketball basket. In this garden, I spent I lot of time in the morning. It's a good place to do yoga and journalism or meditation. Inside, he has a big area to chill, play games, play guitar (yes, he has a guitar!) or just for work in the computer, and for the cooking lovers,, he has a really big kitchen with all the tools that you need. The beds are really comfy, and of course, he has AC. He has chickens and a cat, Aban, Mok's son. This is a beautiful place to stay. You don't need to think about it, it's the best hostel that I have ever been, and now it's my second home.

Very nice personal, well equipped rooms with a small kitchen. Breakfast was nice and every day there were some new dishes. Possible to rent scooters. We would come again.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was quite sumptuous and the day I had to catch my flight, they were mindful of serving me breakfast on time for me to leave on time to catch the flight. Overall a great experience. Quite a few fancy restaurants and food joints are there in the vicinity.
