We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

But that added charm, unusualness. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, huge kitchen, lots of dishes. The town is of fabulous beauty. I dream of coming here again.

Guests can enjoy mountain views. The host was very pleasant and gave me a lift to the correct building after discovering I was in the wrong one ! I thought that, due a few art students floating around (they were there for a residency) that it was open, and simply not fully in gear yet because it was the very start of the season... I got to the building I was actually supposed to be in and found that that very much wasn't the case! Well stocked facilities, like milk frothers, and if you had a bit of change, use of a coffee machine, plenty of cutlery, with books, jenga and chess, and lots of table space too. The view was gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring out the window in disbelief. The room had its own sink, which was very nice! I had a lovely stay :)
