Loved the hostel ambiance, bed, bathrooms were clean, people were respectful to each other, the receptionists were helpful. If you're traveling to Reykjavik via bus or cab, use the landmark as Bus Stop #9 or #13, as the hostel is very close to it. Use the same bus stop for your tours. The famous church is just 5 min walk from the hostel. There's a fast food restaurant right next to the hostel which was great to grab a quick bite to eat.

Located 3.5 km from Reykjavik city centre, this eco-certified hostel is beside the geothermally heated Laugardalslaug Swimming Pool. It features a family friendly coffee house, food and bar, 2 communal kitchens and free private parking. Basic room, as expected, was very clean and beds were comfy especially for being bunk beds. Great location with a bus stop right outside for city bus & tours. Baggage storage was extremely helpful before being able to check in! Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was ideal. Overall, a great place to experience the real Icelandic feeling. I highly recommend this hostel!
