We had a very big bedroom, the hostel is very cozy, very clean, with breakfast included, with a small restaurant area but also with a kitchen to cook if you don't want to order something. 3 big bathrooms/level which are very clean, big, with shower gel and so on. The hostel has an amazing view to a waterfall and to the mountains.

Midgard Base Camp ligt in Hvolsvöllur, op 22 km van Seljalandsfoss-waterval, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. The place was great, with lovely staff. The music show the hostel hosted was good fun as well.

This place really exceeded our expectations. It is listed as a "hostel" but it is one of a kind. It was like staying in a proper hotel, as we chose the "rent apartment" option.

Overlooking Höfn Harbour and Vatnajökull Glacier, this hostel features a guest kitchen, BBQ area and laundry facilities. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. I was very pleasantly surprised by the hostel! You take off your shoes as you enter, which gives a very homely feeling. The room was bigger than I expected, there were 3 very clean modern bathrooms in the same corridor and even thought the kitchen was right behind the corner it didnt bother us with sounds. Washing machine option was great and even though we didnt have warm water the first night the whole stay was very nice. We did cook and the hotel was busy but the shared kitchen was well supplied and had three stoves so there wasnt a need to wait. Complimentary coffee was lovely as well. I surprisingly didnt mind at all how busy it was. The lady at reception was also very nice and showed us how to operate the washing machine.

Efra Sel Hostel ligt in Fludir, op 25 km van Geiser van Haukadalur, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Efra Sel was the nicest surprise of our trip when it comes to accommodation, and probably my favourite accommodation we stayed at in Iceland. The room was spacious and clean, and this was the only room where we had a sofa as part of a "living room corner" too. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The bathrooms are nice and there are 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms I think, which is a good ratio. We did not see other people, so it barely felt like a shared hostel bathroom. The kitchen is also well equipped with a large table facing large windows with a nice view outside. The price was also pretty affordable. We were sorry we booked only 1 night, and would definitely come back!

The hotel was stylish and the common areas were clean and well equipped! The rooms had enough space to open our luggage and sort out our stuff.

Set a 10-minute drive from Jökulsárlón Glacier, this farm Guesthouse offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Iceland’s Ring Road is right next to the property. Great place to stay! Kitchen is well equipped, hostel is clean and rooms were cosy. There was a welcome cake in the morning for everyone. That was so nice!! Also, one skyr was reserved for every guest in the fridge.

Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse ligt op de beroemde route met bezienswaardigheden, genaamd Golden Circle. Hier kijkt u uit over het meer Laugarvatn, de vulkaan Hekla en de gletsjer Eyjafjallajökull.... Vriendelijk personeel, mooie locatie.
