The hotel, room, common areas, breakfast, and all else exceeded our expectations. The location at first (one of our concerns) appears to be away from where you want to be, but in fact is pretty good. The neighbourhood is clean and calm, worth exploring on its own. And it's very close to center even by foot. And by tram, the distance to all tourist-interest areas is negligible (5-10 mins). At the hotel, Giovanni at reception, specifically, was amazing — we interacted a few times and he was always helpful and very friendly. Next time we are in Florence, we are definitely staying again at Re-Dama. : ) Thank you!

It was easy to meet other travellers, there was a great vibe downstairs in the bar, which was always busy. The hostel has different events every night, and it's easy to ask about these and to get involved. I would suggest that you confirm with certainty, which room you book, because there was some confusion for me, which was quickly resolved on check in. I will be back :)

Pisa Cathedral and the Leaning Tower are a 2-minute walk away. The city centre is within a 5-minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shared all female room was lovely and included It’s own bathroom. I was only there briefly as I had to catch a very early flight, but would’ve liked to spend more time here.
