Go to yugeshima, ride the loop there and do the yumeshima kaido and disappear into a real life ghibli movie. These 4 connected islands are absolutely stunning and so serene and quiet they dont even have traffic lights. The people are so kind, the views are breathtaking, and you are virtually the only tourist! This is a very rare experience. Yasu san is a great host, he helped us get the most out of the short time we had on the islands and he’s just overall a very nice person. The guests were great to, good vibes all around.

This dorm has a very nice cafe downstairs and its location is great. The hosts were very friendly and the facilities are good. Also very practical that it can be booked online.

はたご屋 霧中 ligt in Ōzu, op 5 minuten lopen van Garyu Sanso Villa, en biedt een bar, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi. The owner was very hospitable, and I immediately felt at home. The room and all the facilities were very clean, and everything was comfortable—even though I shared the shower with other guests. In the morning, he kindly offered me coffee, which was wonderful. The location is also excellent—right in the middle of town, with everything accessible by walking distance, and I could even park my car close by for free. Overall, it’s a simple, small place, nothing fancy, but very, very nice.

Perfect voor pelgrims. Direct op de route van Shikoku 88. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die goed Engels spreekt. Gezellige sfeer en fijne kamers.

Coliving & Cafe SANDO is gelegen in Imabari, op 35 km van Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine en 38 km van Saikon-ji Temple, en biedt accommodatie met een bar, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Amazing place, a true hidden gem. We ended up needing a place to sleep while doing the Shinanamikaido cycling route and looked for a nice cheap option. After cycling through the sleepy rural Japanese countryside we made it to the hostel, finding it quite easily. The staff checking us in was very helpful and had great English, the whole process taking about 5 minutes. The common areas were clean and filled with appliances, board games and a nice manga collection. The room was quiet and the bunks spacious, slept better than I have in some hotels. Breakfast was great too and they offer free coffee in the shared space. There’s a beautiful shrine and Lawson convenience store nearby so you will be able to enjoy the location and stock up for the rest of your journey.

Quick response to questions and extremely helpful. House is spacious, clean and modern. Great equipment to cook in the kitchen which was great with a family. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was great. Really good to have the washing machine available. Warm place with heat pumps in every room. Loved it. The lady who welcomed us and say goodbye was super kind and lovely.
