The location was perfect for us as we visited the Shaun the Sheep farm before check-in—it made the journey super convenient.
The guesthouse itself was a beautiful blend of traditional Japanese charm and modern touches.
We especially loved the dinner—it honestly felt like an omakase experience! Every single dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.

More than just a bed, I was able to find friends there and spend moments that I will remember for a long time. This place is full of kindness and I hit the road with a smile. If you are looking for rest, this is the perfect place. In his hostel, Jiro San offers decent places, games rooms, a very well-equipped kitchen, as well as a sauna hand made by the owner. Great place with a very personal touch. Owner and people there were very friendly and not complicated at all. Kitchen with living room for general use, some games provided as well. Large fridge with freezer for shared use. Large room with several beds - hardness / softness of beds differs a lot. The kids loved the room. Gypsy / Owner offers several tours / activities around the lake as well.
