The staff were very accommodating and worked hard to communicate effectively. I was very impressed by the professionalism and kindness the staff displayed! I had no issues with the shared bathroom—I actually did not see anyone else use it during my short stay! This was a last-minute booking because I needed accommodation near Oyama Station. However, I was surprised to find that this hostel was more like a hotel. It was one of the best hostels I have stayed in! Guest rooms in the hostel are equipped with a kettle. All units will provide guests with a fridge. The owner doesn't live onsite but arrived later to check that everything was okay. He was really kind, gave me an extra blanket, showed me how to use the heating in the dorm room and gave the kitchen a tidy and clean. It's a basic place but functional, a good budget overnight stop. Walking distance from Oyama station if you're light on luggage. There's a convenience store about ten minutes walk away but no other food options that I could see.
