Very cozy, newly renovated property in the heart of town, five min walk to central parking, where you get 400 yen discount out of 800 parking fee by using coupon from host. Also five min walk to the bridge, where you can see the most beautiful fall color on the hill(mountain). Two rest rooms on the second floor and one shower room each on the first floor and second floor. Overall, we are very satisfied. Highly recommend, will stay here again next year.

My stay was incredible. This hostel is now one of my favorites that I’ve tried in Japan. The facilities are very clean, beautiful, and modern. The decoration is carefully chosen, and the bed is extremely comfortable; even the bath towels smell wonderfully fresh. It’s also extremely rare to find showers so well equipped, with both quality hygiene products and a real walk-in shower. It was my first time seeing this in Japan, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, the hostel manager is very welcoming and accommodating, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this hostel ,you can really feel the effort and attention put into making every stay as comfortable as possible. If I have time at the end of my trip, I’ll definitely come back! This place was a dream! We loved our stay with Akiko and Takayuki (and the cats Tora and Haha!), it was a highlight on our trip to Japan. They were such warm and helpful hosts. The house is so so beautiful and tidy, just as was our room. The surrounding nature is beautiful, for example we took a 1,5h nature trail 15min walk from the house. Their onsen was also amazing after taking a swim in the sea, a 5min walk from the house. The location is remote, but that is also a big part of the charm, so we didn’t mind it at all. We didn’t even have a car but managed well! We did our groceries in Matsuzaki, the neighbor town, which was a 10min bus ride away from the house. The house is also right next to a bus stop. Our bus trip to Ecotone from Mishima was mostly amazing scenery of forests and coast. Highly recommend for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
