Every morning a nice filling breakfast with 2 types of fruit, brown bread toast or chapati or samosa, egg or sausage, coffee. Almost different every day (included in the price if you are a genius).
Comfortable bunk wider than average with curtain and power outlet, quiet at the rear of the building.
Several common area spaces both inside and outside (rear and front).
At a central location in Westlands (Nairobi) with Sarit Mall closeby, Carrefour and Naivas supermarkets, major banks, market with cheap local food stalls, but more sophisticated restaurants in the vicinity as well. Well linked to central Nairobi with public transport such as Matatu's and Boda Boda.
Well equipped kitchen and the place is kept very clean.
Excellent host who is interested in her guests and helpful in solving any issues. She is an experienced traveler herself.

Let me tell you why this hostel makes you feel so good that you feel like staying on & on :
Double Bed sized bunk beds ( A rare find in hostels across the world)
Very friendly, respectful and helpful staff ( especially Dan)
Decent sized common area to socialize
Huge front lawn
Sufficient number of showers, toilets
Hot water showers, good flow pressure & good wifi in common area
Kitchen to cook with utensils, microwave, fridge etc.
Budget restaurants nearby
Not far or expensive from city center via uber bolt etc
The hostel referred a company for a Safari to madai mara at a very competitive price and turned out a wonderful experience.
They don't have lockers but Dan ( staff manager) offers to keep any valuables safely in his private room/locker throughout your stay.
Laundry wash and drying machine available at a decent price.
WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT! 😄😄
Thanks for the lovely stay Mad vervet, loved it and will definitely be back if ever in Nairobi again

Amazing hostel! As a solo female traveller in Nairobi for the first time I was a bit anxious. Mad Vervet was incredible, staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, the other guests were great. I arrived at 4am thanks to transport delays but was still made very welcome (I'm so sorry, thank you so much!)
I was a bit worried it might have a party atmosphere as I'm a quiet and chilled person but it was great, nice and relaxing, very peaceful. The location felt really safe and I can't wait to go back!
