This hotel is close to the river, and it is very comfortable when the evening breeze blows. It is not as bad as many people say. There is paint left on the floor from the renovation, but it is clean and feels good overall.

I would consider this accommodation a work in progress as it establishes its position in the market. It's traditional wooden housing, much more upmarket than a backpacker hostel, more flashpacker. Lots of nick nacks, love and peace signage, twee dining sets, quiant paintings and drawings, old-fashioned bicycles in the garden, etc. It gives an ambiance of relaxation, which can be enjoyed, once you get used to some if it's eccentricities. The staff were cheery patient and helpful although at breakfast, did not speak good English.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in SE Asia. The facilities are amazing, super clean room and bathroom. The water pressure is perfect and you can adjust the heat. Good location to restaurants and shops although the city is a little quiet and not much to do there. Free water refills and welcome water when arriving. The AC worked amazing it was really needed in these heat. The staff helped book taxis and were very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend staying here.

The staff is incredible! They recommended taking the minivan to Vang Vieng as a more convenient and cheaper option and so we did. The breakfast is “as big as you like” as you cook it, which was super nice! The house is close to the city centre, in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The hostel has noise policy and when we were there, people were already asleep at 22:00, so you shouldn’t bother about your sleep.

I really liked the convenience of the location because I had appointments at the Thai Embassy. I also liked the cleanliness and Nuna staff were very sweet and kind. Overall, I must say this was the best hostel I ever stayed at!

I stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved it. If you’re a cat lover you will never want to leave, the owner has many cats and they are all very friendly. The social is also a 10min walk from the markets by the river which was good. Not a very social hostel during my stay but I also was there during off-season. Curtains in the dormitory beds provided lots of privacy and lockers were very large to put your belongings in which was great. Star of the show was definitely the cats though. Overall really recommend!!
