The location is perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-designed, giving that warm, local vibe. Their local breakfast was a real highlight — freshly made, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The in-house restaurant is also worth mentioning; it serves great food with friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone visiting the area — whether you’re a solo traveler or with friends. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

The host is very friendly and helpful. Great hostel to meet other travellers.

At the hostel, the rooms are equipped with a desk. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a bidet, while selected rooms here will provide you with a balcony and others also have mountain views. Nice private room, quiet location on large road, but away from city center noise. Being in Nuwara Eliya was a welcome break from heat! Comfortable bed, room had a small table with two chairs and a sofa bed. Nice that the wall socket had two USB ports. Large spacious bathroom with great hot water. Nice western breakfast of fruit, omelette and toast. We hiked to Single Tree Hill and to Lover’s Leap Waterfall from the house. Haran the host spoke excellent English and his multicultural background enables him to be super welcoming. When he offered to cook dinner for us, I asked to watch his preparations and spent a delightful two hours learning about making curries, as well as learning more about the culture. Dinner was an excellent value as the portions were generous and food was freshly prepared.

It's a lovely place and the hosts are awesome. I ended up sick in the hospital and they brought me a blanket and brought me food every day. Forever grateful!. The location is in a nice quiet area outside of the city centre close to the lake. The hosts can take you on local tours and trails as well, I would highly recommend this place.
