everything here was just fantastic! the location is a hidden beauty and so close to the airport (under 10mins and a tuktuk was organised!), the people are amazing, especially Ashan, he goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! the rooms are super clean and super spacious, definitely would recommend and will be coming back if i am to ever visit sri lanka again! not to mention, long story short, i stupidly left my phone in a tuktuk on the way there, and Ashan was so brilliant. He did so much. He organised a taxi past midnight to try and chase down the tuktuk and its location in which was successful and i managed to get my phone back which was such a relief considering i had a flight to catch in 6hrs with all my flight details etc. all in all, this man is a legend. also shoutout to J.D. (if you ever see this)another brilliant guy who greatly organised the huntdown! without them both, i dont know what i would’ve done! thank you for a great stay!!

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit

Only good notes here. Mario is extremely helpful host, he gave us tons of very useful advice about Srí Lanka, also he helped to pin down the perfect travel itinary plan around the country. He offers free ride to the airport, but if you would like to discover Negombo and/or the surrounding area, he is the perfect guide also. He arranges a nice trip to the nearby river, which was really beautiful! Highly recommend this place, a perfect spot to arrive to / or before leaving Srí Lanka. Also the room was super clean, with a mini kitchenette area (sink, kettle), the bed and bedsheet were super comfy.

This place was amazing, I highly recommend it if you need to chill after you arrive to Sri Lanka or have an early flight!! The internet speed was perfect, I was able to work without interruptions. Owner gives you a beer upon arrival. There's a fish tank so you can get a massage from them. They provided breakfast, and I was also able to book dinner through them. And the drop off to the airport was smooth. It was the perfect place to end my travels in Sri Lanka

The hostel is well located, they organise beach volleyball or sea swimming, i even did a morning bicycle tour organised by them. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and the cappuccino were delicious.
