If you want to be outside the city center in a nice quiet garden, then this is the place to be. Owner Udaya helps you were he can. Such a nice man! Unfortunately I only got to stay 1 night because it was sold out the next day. Otherwise I would have stayed longer for sure! He made sure I got on a good bus to Dambulla with a free transfer! Also gave me some delicious fruit. The terrace was so nice to sit and relax. If I ever come back to Kandy I will stay here again. Women's dorm is very spacious!

Very neat and clean. New comer. Kitchen and common area. Clean two shower rooms and the mirror on hand wash dispenser. Comfy bed with curtains, even there's a small window on top bunk. Nice view anytime..

The hosts are incredible, they meet you with a welcome drink, provide home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner with produce from their garden, currency exchange, laundry, tips and advice, answer any questions and can provide lifts into town. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to have the best stay. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the hills and the facilities are very clean and private. While you eat in their home with them, the dorm and bathroom is in a separate building that also has privacy. The room has lockers and mosquito nets for each bunk and there is fast WiFi. There is also a fan in the room and drinking water available free of charge.

I met some nice backpackers in the hostel by the lake. When I wanted to extend my stay and switch to a private room in the hostel on the hill, they got me a tuktuk to move from one to the other. They helped me find a scooter to rent and gave me recommendations on taking the train towards ella. When I wanted to store my luggage for a few days they arranged that as well. Such friendly and helpful people. And nice rooms as well.

I went for one night and I stayed for 2, because I felt very comfortable, the people of the place are very very respectful, very friendly and very attentive. The owner is a very beautiful person and Jule is a great host. The facilities are beautiful and renovated, the beds are very comfortable and the food they serve there is delicious. The place is far from the busy part of the city. I had to check out really early to catch the train, but the host managed to make me an amazing breakfast anyway.
