In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

I wish if I could give a 10 star rating for the host too . Been on a backpacking trip in Srilanka for a week till now . As far as I have seen this is the best value for money dorm I have been in . Hopefully I'll come back here soon

The property was clean. The mountain views are awesome. I bought two meals and the food was good.

As a female solo traveller i felt safe.

He took me on a private tour of Kandy, revealing hidden gems I’d never have found on my own. His deep knowledge and genuine care made it unforgettable. If you’re seeking an authentic and memorable stay in Kandy, I couldn’t recommend this hostel and Asanka more. His kindness and attention to detail are unmatched.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It’s in a peaceful location but still close enough to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.

Banana Bunks Kandy has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Kandy. The property is situated 2.3 km from Kandy railway station, 2.6 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall and 3 km from Bogambara Stadium. The hostel also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. The family was so sweet. We left the hotel early but they cooked breakfast earlier than usual just for us. I’m glad there’s a mosquito net.
