The host is very nice and welcoming. The building is new, rooms are spacious and very clean. This was also the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Sri Lanka. Great value for money.

The hosts are incredible, they meet you with a welcome drink, provide home cooked meals for breakfast lunch and dinner with produce from their garden, currency exchange, laundry, tips and advice, answer any questions and can provide lifts into town. Nothing is too much trouble and they want you to have the best stay. The property is beautiful with amazing views of the hills and the facilities are very clean and private. While you eat in their home with them, the dorm and bathroom is in a separate building that also has privacy. The room has lockers and mosquito nets for each bunk and there is fast WiFi. There is also a fan in the room and drinking water available free of charge.

We didn't want to go through a busy, big city and make sure to get a seat on a train to Ella so we decided to book a hostel a few stops before Kandy. It was the right choice as not only we got a help to get a ticket to Ella but also we had such a great time in this hostel that we just decided to stay one more day here! People just pass by Kandy but Kandy is full of interesting and historical sites to look around! The most helpful owner I've ever met in my traveling time, not only gave us an amazing tour around Kandy but also provided us with his speciality Lankan breakfast! The toilet & shower is very cleanly maintained, and you get the nice mountain and temple view, a small front garden to sit and relax, amazing local restaurants are nearby. You can never get these good things for the price in anywhere else! If I come back to Kandy again, I would definitely stay here again! The owner was just so knowledgeable about culture / society / history and friendly with exceptional English and made us comfortable in every way. Don't hesitate to come to this place!

Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens is 13 km from the hostel and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium is 19 km away. The location and the vibe of the place was just great! The caretaker Jude was also a very helpful host. He texted the location beforehand and helped me get a Tuk at a slightly cheaper price than Pick me or Uber. I felt very safe and comfortable there. Initially I was planning to stay just a night, but I booked another night as my plans changed. The common space is also very homely. I also got to meet the owners and they were also sweet people. They also have a wonderful Green-house and a well maintained lawn and gardens. If you're into English breakfasts they also have that there in the property. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would definitely want to return there. Great option for travelers who want to disconnect and rest

Had their breakfast burrito twice and think it was one of the tastier things I had in Kandy. They're more of an upscale hostel, so the rooms are clean and well-designed. A little pricier, but certainly worth it if you're wanting a slightly more comfortable dorm experience! Location is good, about a 15 minute walk into the town alongside the lake and about 5 minutes from one of the performance centers for the Kandy traditional fire-dance experiences.
