Bike hire and car hire are available at this hostel and the area is popular for cycling. This hostel has the most amazing staff I have ever met in my life! I can just say a HUGE THANKS for all the people working there, because during my 2 weeks of staying, they treated me so good. I felt like they are all my big brothers taking care of me. I have never seen before a staff so friendly, talkative and involved of the travelers everyday life. Any kind of issue I faced in Essaouira, they were there to help me (even came with me to buy vegetables in the market, to show me how things are going among locals, or we could just eat together to not to feel alone in my lonely moments). Best atmosphere ever! I was a bit crying when I left Essouira :/ If something didn't work in the building (like the electrical socket next to my bed when I arrived) I just told them, and they came right away to fix it. They are fast and really willing to help you. Also if you are looking for a place, where the community life is very good, this is the right place to stay, they have musical instruments, a nice hall, and a rooftop to talk and make friends or find travel buddies. The room was big and super comfortable, with a magnificent terrace in a wonderful and peaceful place. The surf house is on the top of a small hill with the ocean view and 5 mins by car far away from the beach of Sidi Kaouki and 20/25 mins drive from Essaouira.
