The rooms at the hostel have air conditioning and a wardrobe. We are cycle tourers and this was a perfect stay for us. The location was easy to cycle to and our tandem was stored safely inside. The room was very authentic but was great for all our needs. Good shower, high quality linen, balcony with views over the countryside, great heating, and mosquito netting on the window. Abdul and his family were very welcoming and cooked delicious food for us (best tagine in our 25 days in morocco so far). The renovated kasbah is also a museum and holds community events so was a really interesting place, and Abdul was super helpful talking about the area and the cycle route we were preparing for the next couple of weeks. We would definitely recommend this for couples, friends and families travelling in the area.

The hotel is very clean, and everything is brand new. Although it is located by the roadside, it is very quiet at night. The location is excellent, with a taxi stand right downstairs and a local market and shops not far away. The hotel reception staff are very friendly and would ask every day if I was doing well or needed any help. I highly recommend this place to backpackers heading to Ouarzazate.
