We absolutely loved staying at Rancho Tranquillo. It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.

A beautiful hostel that is kind of in the middle of a garden/forest and it’s magical. There’s a really nice and comfortable chill area, the kitchen is small but had what I needed and the owners are very helpful and nice

Julieta was just the nicest person ever! Even though we got stuck at the border from Costa Rica to Nicaragua, she waited for us until 10:30pm and welcomed us. everything was great and super clean, unbeatable for that price. This hostel was my favorite during my time in Nicaragua! The staff and volunteers were super nice. The common areas are really nice, relaxing and good for meeting people and hanging out at night. They organize daily events making it easier to meet people as a solo traveler. Options for surfing were easily available as well.

It was friendly, quite the garden was a nice place to relax .the breakfast was really nice and included in the price. It was about a 15-minute walk from town.

An excellent eco place nestled in the woods. The greenery, fresh food with even more fresh ingredients from the backyard. The pizza night, people, staff, owner and so inspiring.
