The staff were superb (everyone).. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and beautiful Netherlands ❤️. Room was as expected in a hostel, so we knew what we had to expect (No Disappointments at all). A very nice and friendly lady at the reception gave us good, clear instructions. She also went out of her way to give us tips about local activities for kids. The bed covers were all readily laid on the beds for us to make, that's was a fun activity too for the kids. We knew we had to bring towels but we could get them for an additional charge with the hostel. Upon check-out we had to remove all of the covers Duvet, bed and pillow case and put them in the washing basket in the corridor. There are NO hidden charges to worry about ! Lots of activities and games for kids to do in the Hostel both indoors and outdoors. Lots of parkings available in the Hostel. The hostel also rents bicycles if anyone wants to book. The breakfast was good, with various choices. The hostel had a bar and a cafe and also served dinner. We really enjoyed our stay at the StayOkay Hostel and our kids loved the place and want to us to take them back to the same StayOkay in Egmond. We really recommend this place to anyone who wants to Amsterdam, and wants to enjoy the nature, tulips, animal, cycling and the Beach !!

Lovely hostel. We enjoyed the games in the lobby and the simple dinner buffet.

A 27-km coastline of white sand, a beautiful dune landscape and picturesque villages – this is Ameland in a nutshell. Free Wi-Fi is available at Sier aan Zee.

Location was excellent! 5 minutes walk to the beach and in the other direction 5 minutes walk to the forest. Kids loved feeding the ducks at the nearby nursery. Island itself is lovely and distances between villages are easily manageable by bike.

Centrally located on the island and within walking distance of the centre of Den Burg, this inviting Stayokay Hostel Texel is popular amongst groups and individual travellers alike.

The hostel is in the very center of the city and yet not far from the seaside and a museum. Very comfortable, but if you have problems with joints and can’t climb stairs, this property is not for you!
