The location was prime, though it was a bit difficult out to find the entrance as the hostel and reception aren’t on the ground floor. But it was on the waterfront and smack in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and shops with easy access to the ferry system.

Die Peppertree Lodge befindet sich seit Mitte 2022 unter neuer Leitung und liegt nur 80 m vom Strand Paihia entfernt. Freuen Sie sich auf einen Grillplatz mit Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien. Good location, confortable room, the kitchen is clean and you can find anything you need to cook :)

Die Centabay Lodge bietet günstige Unterkünfte im Zentrum von Paihia. Wählen Sie aus einem Bett in einem der geräumigen Schlafsäle oder übernachten Sie in einem privaten Zimmer für Ihr Budget. Centabay was my favourite hostel that I stayed at in New Zealand!!! I loved the vibrant atmosphere, the lovely backpacker-staff and the wonderful manager who was always a joy to chat with. The prices are incredibly reasonable for a place in the middle of Paihia, and you can tell the manager isn't in it for the profit - she genuinely wants to help travellers have the best experience possible. The hot tub worked well and was always great to use. The hammocks and tropical garden are another bonus. I could go on and on!
