The hostel is a 5-minute drive from Church of the Good Shephard and a 14-minute drive from Mt John University Observatory. I liked the fact that the team on the desk did all they could when our booking with you guys had not been sent to them... We arrived to our booking to learn they were sold out. Infact the WHOLE TOWN was sold out. After an hour of 4 people on phones ringing air bnbs hotels motels hostels. Not one bed was found. The staff did everything they could. And a staff member let us stay in there new build that they were about to send to air b n b once it was finished. Obviously this was far more then they should have to do and we were extremely grateful for this guy who let us stay there. The place was beautiful and worth alot more then what we had booked. We had stayed at this place before and were happy with the beds location cleanliness and the service. Was extremely unfortunate that you hadn't passed our booking on to the place we had booked.
