The units at the hostel come with a seating area. This was my second time at Casa Areka and can't wait til I can come back again in the future! Such a cozy little hostel, with amazing, funny and super welcoming staff - always makes you feel like you are literally visiting your family from abroad (Jose, Jesus, Mattias <3)! The facilities are in great shape - considering that the price is *extremely* low, especially for Panama City, and the breakfast delicious as well. There are even two cats that often visit the hostel, which only adds to the overall vibe :) Highly recommend a stay, 10/10.

The location is really quite close to the aiport as well as some great facilities. The room was very comfortable, honestly the bwd was so comfy, I slept as well here (if not better) than in some much more up-marked hotels. It was a real plus point for me. The room is basic but it literally has everything you need and the whole place has a cheerful vibe about it. On the basis of this stay, for the price....it's an exceptional find and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Free private parking is available on site. Everything! I'm not sure why this place is receiving such luke warm reviews. It's a really nice hostel, the staff is really helpful, it's super clean, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable , the bathrooms are really nice, big and plenty, huge well stocked kitchen, and the fastest laundry service I've seen in a while. The pool is really nice and in general it has a really nice chill laid-back vibe and is in a super nice neighbourhood. It's actually a lot nicer looking than the pictures. I slept like a baby over here. Possibly the most undisturbed sleep that I've had in a full dorm room in 4 months of travelling. That itself makes this a full 10 for me. I also lucked out with having only super nice and sociable guests there during my stay. Also, best hostel coffee to boot. I honestly would've extended for a couple of days if I didn't have a flight pre booked.

The location is excellent. The check-in system is very good and user friendly. I loved that guests can have late check-in times, and I loved that check-out is at 1p.m. The bathroom was very clean and had very good water pressure and toiletries. The room was small but very comfortable. It did not have AC, but I was provided with a big fan. Loved it. Did not miss the AC at all. Very strong Wifi. Lots of space and drawers to put away things. Convenience store right across the street.
