Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean rooms. Comfortable matress. A lot of hammocks in front of the rooms and in the garden between trees and with ocean and sunset view. Central location and the beach is in front.

Everything! Loved the location so much! If u want to learn surfing is great! We stayed at the dorm, comfy beds, toilet cleaned daily and with aircon which is great to have.
Absolutely loved that hostel, would come back. Staff was so nice and the location is amazing. Keep in mind is 20min walking from “town” but I enjoyed the walks too.

Mike, the owner, is an excellent chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. He speaks many languages so communication was easy. We learned a lot from him about the area. TORIO is a very small rural location in a lush tropical setting with very friendly people. Nearby is Playa TORIO which has good swimming.

Very friendly check in & tour of the tour. Gave person # & picked up when needed from beach & at the end of our kayak to the remote island in front of catalina beach.

Nice quiet but buzzy hostel - great breakfasts, and nice (but small) cabins. There were nice communal areas where people often chatted and got to know each other, but it also wasn't a "party hostel" where you might be disturbed by noise etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly and bilingual. The property's interior design was to a very high finish throughout. An effort was made for it to be eco friendly. The menu was limited but each plate was delicious and used produce from the lodge's garden. I highly recommend this property.

As the first customers of Bambuda Santa Catalina hostel we had a great stay! It really looks like the pictures and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Location is also great, close to the surf beach and restaurants near the town.

The hostel is located 20minutes out of town (by foot). It’s the perfect spot to relax! The beach is crazy beautiful. It feels like paradise and is perfect for surfers.
The staff was really welcoming and the facilities clean!
