At Hostal Familiar Rolo all rooms have air conditioning and a safety deposit box. Everything was great, the location was downtown, but basically on the beach! The whole area was nice with plenty of hammocks to chill on and the staff was friendly and super helpful. Definitely one of our best hostels on our trip and would definitely stay again!

Both were great, but what really stood out was the pool area with its magnificent view over the sea. I have visited several Bambuda locations and this one had the best food. The staff is incredibly friendly and can arrange anything you need, from Coiba tours to surf classes. The location is perfect, right between the two main beaches, making it easy to go back and forth. I ended up staying an extra day because I loved it so much. Highly recommend and a million thanks to the Bambuda Santa Catalina team for making my stay so memorable.

The bungalows were cute and had everything you needed. With the ceiling fan and wall fan the room isn’t too hot. Also the location is pretty good as it’s close to most of the restaurants and about a short walk from both beaches.

All guest rooms at La Chamba Surf House feature air conditioning and a wardrobe. Such a gem of a surf hostel. I was meant to stay for 2 days but extended to a week. The staff was super accommodating, facilities were clean and I felt right at home. Very chill but still lots of activities going on. 10/10!!!

Hostel Villa Vento Surf Surf Santa Catalina is set in Santa Catalina and has an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden and a bar. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests. Stayed a few weeks and it really grew on me. Super chill vibe, good location, clean rooms, and solid Wi-Fi. Staff are helpful and there’s always a good mix of people around. Easy place to meet others and a great base if you’re passing through or planning your next move. Ideal for travelers heading through Panama especially if you’re looking to connect with like-minded people and maybe stay longer than planned.
