The hostel provides city views, a terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The best accommodation in Colca Canyon! The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. Because there weren’t many guests that night he let me choose the room by myself. I got an incredible mountain view room and it was super clean. The garden is well organized and beautiful, plenty of space you can relax and enjoy the day. At night, it is quiet and just about dark enough to see the starry sky. The next morning before I departed, the owner gave me clear directions back to Cabanaconde. And delicious meals btw! A lot of hikers just stopped here for lunch.

Situated right on the plaza square, just on the other side to where the bus arrives. Family are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good. Room on the smallish side but you are only in your room at night. The shared bathroom was right outside the bedroom and the shower was hot and fantastic. Highly recommend.

Boasting a shared lounge, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 300 metres from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 500 metres from Chivay Arena and 600 metres from Bus Station. Main Square is 300 metres from the hostel. We liked everything about the place: spacious room, hot shower, a lot of blankets - so we felt always warm. The staff is also friendly. Attention to the details in the decorations. A lot of daylight.

The llahuar lodge is one of the best hostel lodges I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a long hike to get there but it’s so worth it for the tranquil and natural hot springs at the base of the canyon. The food provided at the restaurant is tasty and reasonable. The family running the place is incredibly warm and kind, the best Peru has to offer. Try to take a dip after dark to enjoy the Andean night sky, shooting stars, and the Milky Way above.

The hosts were extraordinarily gracious, helpful, welcoming, and kind. We truly felt at home and cared for. The hostel itself is beautiful, with a creative and friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect. Hikers are supported with an invaluable map, individual guidance, and fellow hikers to talk with. The room was extremely comfortable. The food was delicious. We are grateful we stayed here and hope to come back.

Nice place, rooms were basic and only one shared bathroom. But food was good and cheap and the view amazing, we also liked the hot pools!

The hostel is situated in a beautiful location surrounded with lots of gardens and threes. There is a swimming pool too. The place is designed nicely for relaxation. The room was quite big and we had a private bathroom. The food was very good.

Lovely lodges in a great location. It was lovely to relax in hot springs next to the river. The hot springs are really warm and the river is ice cold so it gives a great balance. The hike to and from is excellent with a good mix of scenery and challenge. Really nice hosts

Great location overlooking main lil square. Free tea in lobby. Nice lady on reception. Clean room, clean sheets etc. Had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Lots of blankets as it was very cold when we stayed.
