Die Unterkunft Otravel Hostel 5 minutes from Mactan Airport, die in Pusok, 9,4 km von SM City Cebu entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Gemeinschaftslounge, einem... Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

Eines der besten Hostels, in denen ich je war. Alles ist sehr sauber. Tolle Duschen. Das Personel ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Ich musste morgens nach Cebu-City. Die Hostelbesitzerin hat mich kostenlos mitgenommen, da sie ebenfalls dorthin mussten. Einfach toll. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Die Unterkunft Georgia's Neverland Hostel, die in Malapascua, 500 m von Strand Langub entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz,... Felt very homey and unique! Nicest staff out of any hostel I’ve ever stayed at! Felt like one big happy family. The family dinner was amazing and so yummy.

They also have a canteen with budget friendly prices, good food and a wide choice of cakes, AND a spa area where you can get a good massage with a discount for hostel guests. A great place to stay if you wanna be close to the airport or just lay low for a few days.

The longest review I’ll ever right so if you’re too lazy to read : AMAZING stay ! Fantastic hosts : Anna and her partner Maxime made me feel like part of the family, they are absolute gems ! Always available with a big smile on their face. They go the extra mile to answer any needs, they are very friendly and welcoming. I will miss them dearly. The property : the hostel is small which makes you feel like home (the name of the hostel is definitely adequate). The dorm offers single and double bunk beds with shared bathroom or a private room. Good mattress and pillow, privacy curtains all around your bed, AC woks well. Great value for money ! Location : ideal ! You can walk to the beach (sardines run) and to town where you’ll find plenty of restaurants & bars. Food : Free drinkable water and coffee available all day long. The host Anna cooks and offers a free “bundle fight” meal every Friday night to gather the guests together and make you discover a very Filipino traditional meal. You definitely dont want to miss it ! The breakfast is very affordable and super yummy, vegetarian option available. Service : many tours available for the best price (cheaper than other places I’ve seen), Anna will help you get a scooter to rent or will call you a tricycle if needed (once again, best prices since she is Filipina and has good contacts) The free Wifi connection is great, didn’t have any issue. Free card games / board games available to use for rainy days. Laundry service available. Cleanliness : you share a bathroom with your fellow travellers and the shower & toilets are aside so obviously it can get messy with sand and water (just like everywhere else in the Philippines). Just kindly let Anna know and she will take care of it right away ! The room was clean and the bedsheets smelled amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you guys, you made my stay unforgettable.

The owners were INCREDIBLY helpful with booking rides and excursions. The beds were great, the water pressure wasn't great in the shower, but it was good enough. The location is perfect perfect perfect. Within walking distance of the main area with restaurants and coffee shops and excursions, but far enough away you can escape it.

Very nice and clean place, bar area where people can hang out together, bathroom and shower are clean and tidy, bed is pretty comfy. MOMO is really hospitable and friendly, helped me to book all tours and tuktuk when I needed to go to bus station. A lot of young travelers. Only 3 min walk to the seashore where you can snorkel and see turtles. 15 min walk to bars area

Die Unterkunft D & N LODGE in Daanbantayan bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten nur für Erwachsene mit einem Garten und einer Gemeinschaftslounge. Next to port to cross to Malapascua island. The owners areva lovely couple who keep the place super clean, modern, and simple. Great WiFi & a restaurant next door, plus the Ceres bus arrives next door too (it's a public bus from Cebu).
