I decided to make an exception and stay at a hostel (instead of getting a private room with bathroom at a hotel) because the vibe and personality of this place are just so awesome!! I ended up paying for two persons for a doubleroom, just so that I could have a private room all to myself. Great stay! Excellent customer service -Fantastic location!! P.S. after I checked out, I was supposed to do a 4 day/3 night Expedition tour from El Nido to Coron (booked through another company). When the expedition got canceled and I had no place to stay (because all accommodations in El Nido were fully booked), the girls (Ellen, Marielle, (and Celeste)) were going out of their way trying to help me find a place to stay on the island. I genuinely appreciate the care that they showed the whole time. I feel genuinely valued and cared for, not only as a hotel guest but as a guest of the Philippines. At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a balcony. At Frida Ka each room includes air conditioning and a shared bathroom. Bed was great and spacious, room had a balcony. Location is great if you want to be in the city center! Liked the design and the way the whole place was organized, made the best of a small place!

Amazing atmosphere and beautiful view! Everything is organised, clean and with a positive vibe. Unfortunately I cant remember the receptionist names but they are lovely. They welcomed very well… they called me for my name, they gave recommendations and a beautiful smile when I walked in. I’ve been travelling all Phillipines and so far it was the best place that I stayed. I booked a night and I ended up staying there 3 nights. $50pesos tuk tuk from town… 24hrs available. I had a very yum eggs Benedict and cappuccino. They play nice tunes and games at dinner time. The place is good to meet travellers. Perfect wifi connection. Fresh towel and sheets. Air co works perfectly. I stayed during the wet season and even I wasn’t able to go the beach I had so much fun. I highly recommend if you stay there… please tell them Fern miss them.
