Slowly-Com Vagar beschikt over een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en gratis WiFi, en bevindt zich in Mourão, op 15 km van Castelo de Monsaraz en 38 km van Alqueva-dam. Well what a ‘gem’ of place to stay in whilst visiting Mourão. We did not expect what we found and as soon as were greeted by the lovely Cristina and walked through the very small door into what I can only describe as a ‘tardis’, we were quite blown away. This place is fantastic and belongs to a lady named Maria who is an artist and has her studio on the premises. Her artwork is all around the house and so are her Mum’s sculptures. The house is amazing and so spacious which surprised us, because from the outside it is quite deceiving. We were lucky and managed to park on the road opposite the house, but the roads are very narrow and if you can’t find anywhere outside, there are some parking spaces in the little square which is a few minutes walk from the property. Our room was on the ground floor and had a good size double bed and a fantastic walk-in shower in the bathroom. We were made to feel very welcome and Cristina could not do enough for us. There is a great local Portuguese restaurant a couple of doors down from the house and where we had dinner and then a short walk to the square, which is the hub of the town and where everyone gathers to sit and drink their wine at the local bar there. The breakfast was fantastic and again made and served by Cristina. There is a lovely garden outside with plenty of seating available and there is also a roof terrace with sun-loungers, where you can lounge and watch the sun go down. We did not want to leave and will definitely stay here again. This is such good value for money and I would recommend anyone to stay here, if visiting Mourao.

Hostel de Borba - Just In House is gelegen in Borba, op 50 km van Warenhuis El Corte Inglés, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. The owner was very kind patient and accommodating. The property was impeccably clean, quiet and the room was very comfortable.

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Optie voor enkel mannen, vrouwen, of gemixte kamers. Ruime keuken met veel keukengerei, genoeg douches en toiletten. Ontbijt was simpel, maar een welkome toevoeging.

Guest House - Palácio Diana is gelegen in Évora, op 1 minuten lopen van Sé Catedral de Évora, en biedt een gedeelde lounge, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Stunning room in the centre of Evora. Looked beautiful, bed was comfortable and they brought water and snacks.

Solar de Alqueva is gelegen in Reguengos de Monsaraz, op 18 km van Castelo de Monsaraz, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. Zeer goed ontbijt .Personeel was heel vriendelijk. De bedden waren goed. De ligging van het hotel was centraal en veel goede restaurants in de buurt. Veel historische bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.

HI Évora - Pousada de Juventude is gevestigd in een gerenoveerd honderdjarig gebouw. Deze accommodatie ligt in het hart van de oude stad van Evora. In de gehele accommodatie is gratis WiFi... The location was great, it's right in the city centre! It's about a 10-minute walk away from a free parking place. Check-in time was until midnight, which was perfect for us, since we arrived late. The bedroom and bathroom were big and bright, it had everything we needed! Breakfast didn't have that many choices, but for the price of the night it was absolutely worth it.
