Very cute small hostel, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious home-made local breakfast, great location as it is close to the lake Bohinj as well as Bled, Gorge Vintgar etc. Overall a great value for money.

The hostel is very cosy, with comfortable beds and a great kitchen, pretty spacious, with different stations and fully equipped. There are some supermarkets around to buy some groceries (just beware that all the shops close on Sunday), and it's right next to a good bakery and the bus stop to visit the areas for hiking in the summer or head to other destinations in Slovenia. Staff is great, very kind and helpful, giving all the info on how to explore the area of Bohinj.

Home away from home !!! Felt VERY SAFE, Barbara is very friendly & helpful & keeps the place so clean !!!
Location could not be more perfect, 4 minutes from bus station, 2 minutes from Bled Lake, in front of the only grocery store and laundromat !!!
Very comfy beds, lots of windows and beautiful terrace. Full Kitchen with 2 fridges, spacious & lovely !!!

beautiful hostel with wooden features which made it feel very cosy and comfy. got a beautiful balcony with our room which was a nice added bonus. we had issues with our bus and did not arrive in Bled until 1am but the staff made arrangements and came to reception to ensure we could check in. man who checked us in was very kind and looked out for us, even saying that the hostel could’ve helped us when we were stuck in Villach and that we should’ve called. could not recommend more I wish I booked longer !!

This stay was the highlight of our trip. A beautiful farmhouse, with a wonderful host. What impressed us most was the breakfast (€12 extra) - very plentiful with homemade marmalade, local cheese etc. Perfect start to a day of hiking. The hostel also has bikes which are perfect for cycling to the stunning lake Bohinj. A true delight waking up to the smell of the mountains and the sounds of a rooster! Loved it.

Excellent, efficiently run, hostel in a central location in Bohinjska Bistrica. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable (the hostel owners run an adventure tourism and cycle hire operation). The kitchen and dining/social areas were amongst the best I have ever encountered in a hostel.
