Hostel Panorama Portorož is located on top of a hill, in a quiet part of Portorož, and offers unique views of the surroundings. We had everything we needed, breakfasts were really decent (basic but more than enough, every day slightly different but always fresh) and the place was dog friendly. Slovenia in general and Portorož in particular were an unexpectedly nice surprise for us, so we hope to come back.

The bathroom across the hall was shared with 2 other rooms but could lock for privacy. The staff was friendly and all the guests were quiet and friendly. This was a great experience for us and I will definitely stay here again.

Hostel Villa Domus offers air-conditioned accommodation in Koper, just 450 metres from the city centre and 1 km from the nearest beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is provided in all areas. This 'hostel' was exceptional. Beautifully functional and well designed. Everything about it worked well. The staff friendly and helpful. My room had a kitchenette and a big useful desk. The shower was hot and sensitive. Bed enormous and comfortable. Lift was fast. I hired one of their bikes - 24 hours for 13 euros which got me round this cycle-friendly town . The sea shore cycle track will take you nearly all the way to Isola, nut the disused railway route remained illusive. Poor signage despite the maps that tell you otherwise. If I'm ever in Koper again I will certainly stay at Hostel Villa Domus.

I had the place to myself but it could easily handle tons of guests comfortably with all the space they have. I appreciated that there was free parking, and even with a room alongside the main road, the double-paned windows really kept out the noise, I didn't notice anything.

The house is in the perfect location inside the city, everything is just so close. The rooftop terrace provides a great atmosphere to hang out. The rooms are tiny, but comfortable and equipped with AC, which is a huge plus. Gregor was a great remote-host, he replied to all our inquiries within seconds, with clear and helpful answers.

The owner is very friendly, made the checking process a breeze. Allowed us to keep the bikes inside the hotel to make sure they are safe. Excellent breakfast in the morning. The lady who makes the breakfast is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is hundred times better than at the most hotels in USA. Definitely recommend staying at this hostel.
