I stayed in the female dorm.. very comfortable.. super clean.. AC doesn't shut off.. has water despenser inside the room.. bathroom inside and another beautiful shower outside.. The reception is the bar.. has a pool, and other games.. many tables to stay.. fans.. beautiful decorations.. There is a co working space with the lake view... Over all of that, the stuff is amazing!! Fon the owner is present all the time with his welcoming friendly attitude and keen for helping everyone by himself.. and sure if the owner does that, he would choose an amazing stuff who go beyond to make you feel super happy, welcomed and comfortable during your stay.. It was my second time to go there, and I would repeat it, and 100% recommend it..

I stayed 10 days there. Good quality beds with proper curtains. Lots of space outside rooms to hang out. Great garden area where each evening some activities took place. Delicious vegan breakfast. Great vibe in the coffee shop. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed out. More expensive than other hostels on the island but I think it’s worth it. They organize a lot of activities each day, yoga, meditation, journaling. I met a ton of nice positive people there. Property gets cleaned nicely every day. Lovely owners. You get a sense of belonging there. I’d definitely come back.

My First ever hostel experience, so lucky I chose this one as it was amazing, the staff and atmosphere is the best on the island, if you’re there for the full moon or half moon this place is the place to book!

The highlight was the host, on my second night he was cooking dinner with a friend and invited me to eat with them, with every problem Ive had he helped me out and i even ended up renting his private scooter because i didn’t find a rental with a good price

Amanda is the most careful and attentive host i have met in my trip in thailand ! She checked in with me before arriving , making sure my ferry was on time and that transportation from the port was accommodated. The house is absolutely lovely with a cozy common area where you can hang out with the other girls and plan your trip around the island. Amanda also helped us rent scooters and had them delivered to the house without any issues or stress! Purple house is the home away from home and I recommend it to all female solo travellers.
