The first thing I noticed about this hostel was that the owner makes everything clean and organized. In the kitchen, there are basic utensils, electronic pot, microwave, drinking water and fridge. The bed in dorm room is fairly big for one person and comfortable. There are a power socket, personal light for each bed and you can use a locker too. The location was great. 10 minutes walking to the beach, 3 minutes walking to 7-11, a lot of local restaurants, a local market, beverage shops and fruits shops. 10 minutes to massage shop by foot. I could go to the main pub area in 20 minutes by foot as well. But the best thing is that even it is close to all things I need, the hostel area is not noisy. I only can hear the noise from the cars or scooters at night even I used the bed just right in front of the balcony door. As a female solo traveler, I feel it is a quite safe area to walk around at night. People mingle in the living room at night. We talked about our travel stories and shared the recommendations. I have met good travel buddies and we went to the bars a few times. I have to mention the owner of this hostel, Tharita. She is a local and takes care of the guests so well. We shared our personal stories, cooked together and she showed me around the area, recommended the spots and helped me to organize to go to the pier/tour. She is a very nice, lovely and funny lady. She speaks very good English and she is more than happy to let you know what is a real Thai experience. All guests like her and she also likes the influence from other cultures and wants to learn from them. She made my day many times. I'd like to come back this hostel to see her and talk more about our stories. I will miss DK1. P.S: don't be skeptical about the rating. 9.6 out of 10 is real. If you stay at DK1, you will know why this hostel marks so high score. Tharita works really hard to make this hostel nice and feel like home.

L’établissement The Rock Samui Poshtel Lamai Beach vous accueille à Lamai, à 700 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Lamai. There are luxury rooms with fantastic views and a solo travel part. I traveled alone and was looking for somewhere safe and unique. This place is where I will come back again for sure. The hotel offers a cozy 4-bed female room, and It’s a perfect place for solo travel. Staffs are also friendly.

L’établissement Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel se situe à Lipa Noi, à 2,4 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage Laem Din. L’hôte était de la plus grande gentillesse, super accueillant et super aidant. Nous avons adoré cette hotel, nous la conseillons à tous!

Situé à Laem Set Beach, l’établissement Ananas Samui Hostel comprend une piscine extérieure, un jardin, un salon commun et une terrasse. Very quiet place, very green territory, helpful staff, perfect place for this price

L’établissement Nomad Stay Hostel with Coworking Space se situe à Nathon Bay, à respectivement 2,8 km et 5,8 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Village de pêcheurs et Statue du Grand Bouddha. Super propre, très bien reçu par le personnel, tout est à disposition (serviettes, draps, shampooing, gel douche, claquettes, casiers avec cadenas) L’établissement est bien placé ce qui permet d’accéder facilement aux lieux à visiter L’hôte m’a aidé à organiser mon séjour et m’a recommandé beaucoup de lieux à visiter !

Situé à Nathon Bay, l’établissement TRIBE by Aforetime possède des hébergements dotés de la climatisation. Il vous accueille à 300 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Taling Ngam. A home away from home. Kind and caring people from the guests to the locals to the amazing staff. The owner is Superman! Peaceful, relaxing, one of the cleanest hostels I’ve been in. Respectful! 100/200m away from the beach, local smoothie lady is a must. Breakfast served around 6/7am from a local roadside restaurant. 7-Eleven is 5 mins by bike.

Very clean and the nicest staff and owner ever. Also a nice kitchen and a chill common area, just felt like a little second home especially when staying longer :)
