The girl at the reception was very friendly and flexible. There was a nice common space where travelers can meet(Not noisy at night). Our stay was very short but if we stayed longer, maybe we could meet new people. Closed to the station, a delicious bakery and a convenient store. Our room was without window but very specious and clean.

I think this might be the best designed hostel I've ever stayed in! And I've travelled over 60 countries and stayed in hundreds. Every single tiny thing has been well thought out for ease and comfort. Eric has really gone above and beyond. Rooms are great with Wider than standard single beds, high bunks for both bottom and upper (you can stand on the upper bunk!), lights and plugs, hooks and hangers for towels & clothes, drawers. Super well equipped toilet (warm seat and toilet) and showers (really good shower heads, pressure and temperature control), large sinks, sensor lights, sanitary products for women, ear plugs, etc. Also free use of laundry and a well equipped kitchen. He even provides dental floss at the dining table! Free use of bikes. Information about Yuli and surrounding towns provided by QR code. Plus Eric is super nice and helpful.....and has decorated the place with lots of vintage knick-knacks. Amazing stay, highly recommend this place. Yuli is also a very nice town with lovely friendly people and beautiful landscapes. If I hadn't already booked my next place, I would've stayed longer.

A pleasant stay at Hualien before departing to Taipei. It's walking distance from Hualien station & laundry store. The staff is friendly and patient in answering our inquiries prior to the arrival and provides taxi booking to the night market as well.

The location is convenient and quiet. What really sets this place apart is the host- I felt like I had so much help and I was never alone when trying to figure out what to do during my stay there. Great guy!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities were really clean and the rooms were super cozy. It had everything you need and even went beyond by providing things like house slippers and shampoo!

The bed(flat one on the floor) was warm and comfy. No window, but makes you drop into deep sleep. There’s a coffee machine in the kitchen you can use (30NTD at the time), which was pretty good! The staff were very kind to guide me about the hot springs nearby. You can ask them about local cuisines and cat cafes…. English, French also seemed to be available.

Absolutely love this hostel. The location is just a few mins aways from the main station. It’s SUPER clean and comfy. The staff is accommodating - I was arriving a bit late and they are being understanding, gave me clear instructions for self check-in. Recommend to stay here 100%!
